Peldon Rose, London
We have produced a number of custom banquette seating pieces working in conjunction with design and build company, Peldon Rose, for their clients including Assala Energy, Board Intelligence and AFL Insurance in recent months.
The demand for banquettes within offices have been growing in popularity in recent years, but the challenge has been to ensure their look and feel fits with modern workspaces rather than sticking out as restaurant furniture placed in the wrong environment.
For Board Intelligence, we created a dimple button back banquette with multi-coloured buttons which completed the creative artwork on the wall above the seating. The seating was upholstered in the Kvadrat Messenger fabric in a blue-grey colour.
As well as the banquettes, we installed a pair of custom booths that were fitted into recesses within their office space. These booths had the same dimple button back design but also included an upholstered back panel and ceilings complete with integrated spotlights.
Assala Energy, opted for a burnt orange colour from Sunbury Design’s Belfast AquaClean fabric on the backs of their vertical fluted banquette. A charcoal grey was used for the seat to offer a contrast and the banquette was finished with black MFC kickboards.
In AFL Insurance’s City of London office, we installed a tall plain back run of fixed seating in Spectrum Vinyl’s Seafoam colour with light oak kickboards.
